The Inglenook Sidings

First popularized by the British model railroader Allen Wright, the Inglenook Sidings is a classic switching puzzle.

The challenge is to sort eight railcars using three tracks. The catch is the limited clearances of each track.

For more information about the Inglenook Sidings concept and history check out the Model Railways Shunting Puzzles website.

WGH Layout

A layout based on the World's Greatest Hobby (WGH) trackplan. The WGH is a public relations campaign by various model railroading manufacturers and publishers to introduce the hobby to the general public.

For more information about the campaign, check out their website.
